                                                       TEACHER GOES CRAZY

     After multiple times of a teacher telling a student -  Franklin to put he cellphone away, the teacher went crazy and took the phone and smashed against the ground. That destroyed the phone completely. Franklin freaked out and punched the teacher in the face and they stared a fight while the class was watching, they where also blocking the way of anyone stopping it. In result the teacher was sentence to 4 years in jail and had to buy the student a new phone, and the student had to do 70 hours of community service hours.

Lightning Rod

Literary Devices: I think the author called the story Lighting Rod because in the story there was a lighting storm and the computer still worked even tho it was lighting.

What do you think now? Yes I do think that computer intelligence will surpass human intelligence because technology is smarter than most humans already.

Meta cognition: Making inferences and asking questions affected the response because it helped understated the story better.

Are you making the most of your high school experience?

 Yes I believe that I am making the most of my high school experience.
I believe that I am making the most off my high school experience because I have joined many sports and clubs. I have also have tyred my best in all of my classes and i have eared many good marks.
 Another thing I have done to make the most to my high school experience is socialize and make many good Friends.

 This year I have joined swimming and I am really enjoying it.
 I also plan on joining other sports, like volleyball, base-ball, and rugby.
 I find sports are like another way of making friends and having fun doing what you like at school.
 I also think of sports as a way out of school.
 Every report card I have gotten I have had at least one C but for the first year I have gotten 2 A's and 2 B's.
 I think that having a good report card will help me make the best of my high school experience.
 Good report card also means that I could get a good job latter in life.
 If I get a good job later in life that would complete my high school experience.

 I have made many friends since school has stared.
 I believe that socializing is one of the most important things to do in high school.
 Without friends it would be too hard to live for me.
 Friends are what I believe gets you through the day, they make your world.

Hi Leah,

I want to work with you to make this blog something that you are really proud to show your parents. I thought it interesting that you were reluctant to share and that made me curious. I suspect that it's not because you have personal information posted but maybe because you feel like they would be disappointed with what they saw?

I think that's really unfortunate. You have many posts which is a good sign that you are trying to do well. I do feel like we have some work to do yet, but I think we can get you writing a 4 paragraph opinion piece by the time we are done the course.

I spent some time trying to help you understand what the opinion essay was all about. Did I leave you confused about anything? The best way for you to get good at this is for you to write several and get me to comment on them for you.

Can you please let me know when you are finished the opinion essay so I can comment on it? I haven't seen anything so far that looks like it's 4 paragraphs. But please, don't struggle with this all by yourself. Ask me any questions you can. I'll do what I can to help.

Should Physical Education Be Mandatory Every Year of High School?
I do not think that they should be mandatory
I don't think that physical education shouldn't be mandatory because there are people who want to get carries that doesn't involve physical education and they need credits for other subjects and if they make physical education  mandatory they may not be able to reach the credits that they need.

Are Blogs Helpful In English Class

           Yes they do help in English class because now we don't have to waste paper. We have the Internet to communicate, plus blogs are awesome in English because you can help keep in touch with the teacher and, he still connect your work without waiting paper.

Courage

What Courage Means To Me

Courage means many thing to different people and for most part I haven't disagreed with anyone yet, but to me courage means, when your scared of something or to do something you try to overcome all your fears. Not all the time you can overcome those fears but as long as you try to and don't give up right away, that is courage to me.

There has been many things in my life time that I have had to overcome like leaving all my family's that I have been apart, moving, constant, going on scary rides when little ( I was scared of the stairs braking or fall on the stairs not the slide) and the first day of school. They were very all scary times and I over came them all through courage.

Water Slide

Water Slide

Water slides are a form of entertainment. They are very popular and its an alternative for the beach. People of all ages climb up a set of stairs to get to the top, then slide down the water slide to a pool all day. The water slide has long, bright blue plastic tubes for people to ride down. Most young people have no fear, so they lie back and try to go as fast as they can. Most of the kids also try shoot out or fall off the tube and land in the pools.

1) The water slide is a form of entertanment.
It is popular.
It is an alernative to the beach.
2) People climb up.
People slide down.
They do this all day.
They are of all ages.
3) People go down tubes.
They slide themselves.
The tubes are long.
The tubes are blue.
The blue is bright.
The tubes are plastic.

They shoot out the end of the tube.
They land in the pools.

Small Inspiration
When I was reading this story I saw her sipping her tea at the beginning, White cup with silver top lining,white tea, in a kitchen.
I also saw her little sister prancing into the kitchen, I saw her wearing blue pants with a colourful top. The third thing I saw her do was thinking about her obsession over herself, I saw her in her bedroom sitting on her bed looking at a mirror. The lastly I saw was the Dad with her girlfriend togther when she pointed out that her sister would have to switch beween houses.

Hi my name is Jordan and I have recently been elected for mayor, well that's what I'm telling my friend. He falls for everything and doesn't get very mad after wards. So I prank him all the time, I'm not shere if he likes it or not but I still do it he doesn't say anything about it either. I think I'm going to go to his house now. He lives right beside me. Oh before I go I think I should tell you how I'm going to do this amazing plan, first I made a fake website for mayor then I put myself along with the other candidates so it would be believable. Hes going to fall for this one big time, and I know what your thinking why do I go out of me way just for one little prank, well my answer is simply I like his face when he finds out. OK here we are at his house, wait a sec did I tell you hiss name? no, OK well you don't need to know anyway its not important. *Ring, ring* "who is it?"

Hes such a loser, for prof he has the campaign on a bookmark, that is a complete waste of space on a computer, idea I could go on his computer when hes gone and take off his real one and put one my fake one onto he bookmarks.

The Twilight Zone

1) What is your opinion of The Twilight Zone? Explain why this either would or would not be a good graphic novel to use for other grade nine classes.

I thought that the twilight zone was a good book. I like the graphic novel is better than a normal book because I was more interested in the book with the pic. because I got a better pic. in my mind.2) How is reading a graphic novel different than reading a short story? What strategies do you have to use as a reader in order to understand it fully? (Make a list)

It's different because I had a better picture in my mindf to help undersatnd the story and to make it better.
